I don't know why I have such a hard time with people who think they know everything. I can't spell. It has nothing to do with where I've been, what I've done, or how I got to be where I am.
Why would a series of miss spelled words lead a person to think that I am too young to post a message? I am in fact a great grand mother which makes me more than sixteen.
When talking politics or almost any subject I don't think I sound young. I may be young at heart but I have some deep concerns about many things from global warming, the war in Iraq, genocide in the Sudan to the way kids are educated only to be able to pass a certain test rather than being taught a wide range of intresting and usefull things.
The world is too big and so wonderfully varied in people, things, critters, places, foods, history, art, music, and more and more... Children need to be taught the basics of reading writing and rithmatic and then be allowed to study those things that they find interesting.
Seems to me the schools put some kids on a fast track to college and other kids on a slippery slope to janitor work and jail. Not that I'm saying janitor work is a bad thing, I myself have done janitor work, it's honest work and some one has to do it. But the really smart kids, the thinkers, the creators, the builders, hardly have a chance to grow into their potential.
A system of know it all's push for conformity in all people and spelling is valued over thinking, A person is judged by miss spelled words and not the thoughts the words become. It's about content after all.

Doubt thou the stars are fire!
Doubt that the sun doth move;
Doubt truth to be a liar,
but never doubt I love.
Shakespeare
