Troll is a name I have been called when I dared to Post something "Those People" disagreed with. When I dared to question, yes, even challenge their thinking... Though I was polite, and honest in my questions, "Those people" used the term troll to define me. This was also the case for a few other people with whom I became friends because of the close minded, foul mouthed, attacks by "Those People."
The question is... Can one be called a troll on one's own blog?
What is a troll?
The term "troll" can mean a number of different things, but in essence, a troll is a person who aims to have 'pleasure' at your expense.
There are two main types of trolls:
People who have the psychological need to feel good by making others feel bad.
This is a sort of "psycho troll", whose deception involves deceiving themselves as well as others. Such people may use their real names on the Internet, and they may not even realise that they are "trolling" because it is all subconscious.
WOULD THESE BE THE FOLKS WHO SHOUT DOWN ANY DISSIDENCE BY YELLING TROLL AT ANYTHING THEY DON'T LIKE?
People who pretend to be someone that they are not - they create personae that you think are real, but they know is fictitious. SOME DO THIS BETTER THAN OTHERS.
There are four types of these trolls: but these are the three types who are of concern in this blog at this time.
Playtime Trolls: an individual plays a simple, short game. Such trolls are relatively easy to spot because their attack or provocation is fairly blatant, and the persona is fairly two-dimensional.
Tactical Trolls: This is where the troll er takes the game more seriously, creates a credible persona to gain confidence of others, and provokes strife in a subtle and invidious way.
Maniacal, psycho, trolls who spend hours online, (time you will never get back btw) searching out every post a person has ever made, and post it on a blog someone else owns, in an attempt to embarrass, or intimidate a person. "Those people" have gone so far as to create faux posts in my name.
Searching for personal information and posting it online in veiled threatening ways... Such as using a child's name or posting a picture of ones house. Most damning of all... taking on line bull shit into a persons real life.
Why? What is the freaking point?

You might have gotten widdow your feelers hurt because I posted eight months ago, on a private forum, that I didn't like you, I LIKE YOU EVEN LESS NOW, I THINK YOU ARE MORE OF A NUT CASE NOW. SO WHAT? WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR POINT?
GET OVER IT. MOVE ON! GET A REAL LIFE! GO ANNOY SOMEONE ELSE! GO BARK AT THE MOON!
