I have been up all night with Dean Koontz. He's no Stephen King, but he can turn a phrase, and from time to time spin a delicious tale. "Odd Thomas" is one of his better yarns. He has a touch on this character and the story isn't half bad either, no wait, the story is darn good.
Anyone new to Koontz will be happy they started here and long time fans will be pleasantly surprised. A word to the wise, buy the first two books right away. you won't be sorry to read them back to back. Sorry when the second story ends, but "brother Thomas" is out in hardcover, and maybe in paperback. I'll get back to you on that.
