To answer your question, one that has been asked before, is because one of "Those people" is sue happy. To post an ISP would almost be the same as posting names and holding them up for public ridicule. Even though they damn themselves by their own words.
While I have no doubt, if I were forced to defend myself in court I would laugh with the judge as he threw the case out, it would still be hours of my precious time I'd never get back, wasted over on line crap. I have already spent more time on this crap that I ever wanted to.
But it is about MY freedom of speech, and the freedom to communicate with whomever I chose.
It's fast becoming about how stupid some people are and how rude and vile they can be.
Stupid, for taking on line crap so seriously, bringing it into someone else's real life... Getting P.O.- ed at some one and hunting down their real name and searching for their home address to harass, intimidate, and even just plain annoy, is the sign of a sick mind in desperate need of mental health help.
Holding a grudge for months /years over something posted on a message board or blog that ya disagreed with? How stupid is that? Get Over It!
If something I wrote, someplace, bothers you so much that you are spending hours of your time getting even, you need to step back and see how much power you are giving me over your life. (power I did not ask for and do not want.) Get mental health help and then Get Over It!
IF, for what ever reason, you think you have the right to control someone else's online presences, you need to rethink that and seek mental health help. The only person you must need control is your own bad self. (and perhaps your dog) Everyone else can take care of themselves.
Fighting with someone on line is like winning a race in the Special Olympics, ya win but you are still retarded.

I'm thinking no one is stupid enough to try and sue them over on line crap.
We both know someone who sued his sister over on line crap, and is trying to sue Brian still over the on line bull shit.
I don't want to deal with that in any way, shape, or form. Defending myself here has already taken up too much of my time & I can walk to my desk. No harm, no foul, ya know?
If those "crime bloggers" begin to turn on each other, posting ISP's will bring a veritable plethora of lawsuits and threats of lawsuits.
They will all be shouting cease and desist, untill their heads explode.
As for me... I just want them all to go bark at the moon.
